Forgiveness.
Ahh, Let's try a harder topic today, shall we? I'm sure we've all had a time where we've had to forgive somebody. Some of us have a really hard time with it. It's our natural instinct to want to just hide away, and not say anything to that person. We want to protect ourselves from never being hurt again by that person anymore. Colossians 3:13, "Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." How do we forgive someone when we really dont feel like it? If you said "By faith." You're correct!! :D and you know what the prize is?! We get honored by God. and that's a pretty great prize if you ask me. (: Matthew 18:21-22, "Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?" Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times. " That's all I got for today... (:

Brokenness.
Brokenness. One of my favorite emotions, honestly. A well-known emotion in my family, and probably many others. I hope everyone get's the chance to experience this. It causes one to realize how un-perfect they really are. They have problems just like anyone else. It's good for us, spiritually and emotionally. It softens us and makes us more sensitive. In my case it brought me a whole lot closer to God. Prov 17:22, "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones." I think this means that when we're broken, we feel like we're being dried out and deprived. It's not fair. Why me? What did I do to deserve this? Well, nothing, It's life, and you're not alone on this ride. Know that. The Bible says in James 1:12, "Blessed is the man that perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love him." So, when you're going through a tough time, A time of Brokenness, remember this. You're definitely not alone. (:

First day of blogging.! (:
Well, this is day one. Today is just going to be some totally random message of whatever I can think of at the moment. Since so far, this website is confusing me. (: I think today my topic will be on disturbances. What kind of disturbances do you have in your life? I can name a few: My alarm clock, When you're reading a good book and someone interrupts, When you're sitting in your car listening to your favorite song at a red light, and the guy behind you honks because it turned green. Just to name a few. But those are just a few Minor disturbances. But sometimes in life you get this big, loud wake up call kind of disturbance, that you would never in a million years expect. Death, Job loss, Discovering you have cancer. These kind of experiences will really make you wake up and smell the scorched flesh. All we can really do is go to God, and if these things do happen, we cant blame him. He didn't do that to us. The Bible says in Psalms 73;25-26, "25 Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. 26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. " and also Exodus 14:14, "The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
